Searching for Hidden Folks

This hand-drawn, interactive game of searching for hidden folks is a delightfully simple and engaging way to spend a little time. Honestly, you may spend more than a little time poking and prodding at bushes, doorways and people as the game increases both the size and scale of the areas in which your search is contained. There’s tonnes of character and characters to be found here.

Hidden Folks was created by game designer Adriaan de Jongh and illustrator Sylvain Tegroeg, and as well as featuring completely hand-drawn levels, all of the sound effects are created directly from the mouths of the developers. This concept really works well and meshes well with the whimsical art style. You can play at your own pace and search every nook and cranny for some deliberately hard to find folks. You will want to explore every inch of the richly populated levels as there are lots of clever and amusing things to discover.

Have a look at the gallery below to see some of the early levels and folks to find. The full game currently offers 15 different areas, with the developer suggesting more will be available at a later date.

You can find out more about Hidden Folks at the official website.
